
Protection against S. Enteritidis Infection
A Field trial in broiler breeders carried out in The Netherlands, to determine the efficacy of Nobilis Salenvac against S. Enteritidis infection.
Method
- Flocks with a high risk of becoming S. Enteritidis positive through re-infection were used in the trial.
- The flocks were divided into two groups.
Group 1: vaccinated with Nobilis Salenvac.
Group 2: unvaccinated controls
Results
- Group 1:No S. Enteritidis infections were observed
- Group 2:The Incidence of S. Enteritidis remained the same.
Conclusion
Nobilis Salenvac protects against infection or re-infection with S. Enteritidis in high-risk poultry flocks.
