What are IRPs?

IRP stands for Iron Regulated Protein, which Salmonella bacteria use to increase their uptake of essential iron in the intestine where iron is limited. Nobilis Salenvac ETC is produced under conditions of iron restriction (IRP technology), which leads to maximum induction of IRP empowered antibodies in addition to conventional antibodies. With this technology, Nobilis Salenvac ETC induces a strong chicken immune response and a powerful reaction against a natural field challenge.

What sort of immunity does Salenvac ETC give?

Two injections of Salenvac ETC give an immune response consisting of Immunoglobulins G (IgG) and M (IgM)as well as cell-mediated immunity. IgG is also excreted in the bile. This means that Salenvac ETC controls the Salmonella challenge in both the intestines and the organs.

When should birds be vaccinated with Salenvac ETC?

Birds should be vaccinated with the first dose (0.5 ml) from 6 weeks of age with a second dose at least 4 weeks later. The second vaccination should be administered no later than 3 weeks before lay.

Where should Salenvac ETC be administered?
